Being present in the moment matters because it is the only time in which we can do anything… yet our mind is often mulling over past issues or predicting future problems. This distraction and mind wandering (on average 47% of the time) is becoming more prevalent given the demanding context in which we work and live. Yet, this ‘mindless’ tendency depletes our resources and is why athletes and leading business people are harnessing the power of mindfulness to stay present.

Mindfulness Is Key To Peak Performance

Mindfulness Training builds the skill of being able to intentionally ‘focus attention’ where you want your mind/attention to go rather than being driven by ‘the voice in the head’.
